Remember that adorable piglet and the sea of sexy cowboys & girls at Akira's 9th birthday party? Well something like all that-only better will happen in July. Just like last year, Akira is celebrating its upcoming birthday with a celebration at its three Bucktown stores. However, because this year marks the momentous DECADE mark the party is set to be more elaborate than ever.

This year's Middle Eastern-themed event will take place both indoors and outdoors during the day over the weekend, rather than on a weeknight like in previous years. Additionally, the jewelry sponsor, Diamond Nexus is giving away $1,800 in jewelry, there will be a hookah garden, outdoor bazaar shopping, a "men's desert oasis" belly dancers, fortune tellers and... roving camels.
