The time has come again for Vintage Heaven, Wicker Park's established organization of art-driven vintage sellers to set up shop at Heaven Gallery amidst a contemporary works exhibition by Morgan Sims. This big sale with a ton of neons found parallels in art and fashion, as they say, "...we're talking Julianne Moore all cracked out but looking amazing in maxi dresses. It's Boogie Nights meets Bruce Nauman neon...".
Shop from vintage from many of the best vintage dealers in the Midwest happens on June 30 and July 1 from Noon-6PM which will benefit The Heaven Gallery foster new talent in art. While you're shopping peruse the lure and decadence of the time with a pile of entrancing neon (as seen here) by Morgan Sims, from the gallery's "circa 1970" art exhibition last month. The pile of neon will reemerge for the best of Heaven 12 year anniversary show next month.
