Topman Opening Weekend Pop-Up in... Pilsen.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Starting tomorrow, Topman is setting up in the gallery space of Indie 38 Member, Arpentry in Pilsen, owned by Floyd A. Davis. Known for his woodwork, music skills, tattoo shop and motorcycle shop, Floyd will host a temporary pop-up. The front half of the gallery is all white walls with a self-made hutch that slides over to reveal the back half. The front will feature Topman product that has been allocated, displayed on wooden fixtures and tables. At the back half product will be showcased on chrome/white metal fixtures, surrounded by exposed brick walls.

A DJ will be set up at the back of the gallery where light streams through a wall of windows and a door leading out to the courtyard. A flat screen tv will be set up in the lounge area towards the back, showcasing the latest Topman Design runway show. The pop-up closes Sunday night.
