We know, we know. You HATE to go out of your "jurisdiction" (read: downtown/north side neighborhoods) to travel to other parts of Chicagoland. Especially the 'burbs. But this may be well worth the trek...Downtown Oak Park is hosting their Indie Sidewalk Sale beginning this Saturday, the 21st, and it will go to the 24th. The sale lasts from morning til night, and also features live entertainment. The independent jewelry and clothing boutiques that line Lake, Marion and North Blvds will hawk their wares at discounted prices. Some of the boutiques participating are Laura Kitsos' Gem Jewelry Boutique, and Miya Beathea's Croix. See, we told you it'd be worth the trek. [Racked Wire]
