Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
We're not sure about you but we think the guys up in Roscoe village have lost their mind--they're already talking about Christmas. Starting tonight more than 20 shops will be staying open until 9PM or a little later for the neighborhood's annual Christmas in July sale. Most all the shops at Roscoe and Southport including Spex, Lush, a Pied, City Olive, Little Trhreads, The Denim Lounge, Roscoe Village Bikes, Hubba Hubba and Village Paperie are taking part. Sales range from 20-50% and will stay at those price points until Sunday. Also, there will be a guy dressed as a santa wandering around on the street, so don't call the cops.
