CONTROVERSIES—This week, Ald. Joe Moreno started a firestorm when he said he wouldn't allow Chick-fil-A to open a new location in his ward following comments made by the chicken chain's president against same-sex marriage. The owner of the city's only other location responded, saying they are all about community.

LOGAN SQUAREIntellgentsia is opening a new coffee house, this time near the Logan Theater. Exact location and timing are still up in the air.
