Summer in Chicago is great because there are so many free things to see and do. From farmer's markets to vintage bazaars, there are many ways to fill your day while going dutch. One of them is The Chicago Sidewalk Sale. The event is a collaboration betweeen the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Chicago Fashion Resource, and offers a shoppable pop-up that takes place on Daley Plaza July 17-18, 9am-3pm. You'll have the chance to shop all of your fave local designers including Anna Hovet, Michelle Tan and Miriam Cecilia. Yes, you'll have to pay for the clothes if you want to purchase something, but to walk and take a look-see is free. At noon on both days, there are also free fashion shows of the Sidewalk Sale's pieces.
