To over 3,000 of Chicago's social elite, one of the city's most celebrated charity events, the Green Tie Ball, is returning this year on September 15 with an “Alice in Wonderland” theme. The event happens at crayy metal refining plant A. Finkl & Sons on Southport at Cortland and will be hosted by nonprofit organization Chicago Gateway Green, which makes the city's latin nickname, Urbs in Horto a reality. ABC7’s “Windy City LIVE!”, Valerie Warner and Ryan Chiaverini will be the faces of the night and intro a special deejay set by celeb rock artist Pete Wentz of Black Cards.
