Today is the official unveiling of the much anticipated Halloween display at The Brown Elephant in Andersonville. Last Friday the staff dug deep into the backstock of bins and set out to make the most fabulous haloween display in years. We saw it yesterday, and though we may not be diehard trick-or-treaters, we do have to say it is one impressive display. A corner near the entry was cordoned off while strobe lights flashed, an American Gothic dining table with drippy candelabra sat with vacant chairs. Miniature plastic pumpkins, bones and a few quasi-creepy stuffed animals were artfully strewn about. In the opposite corner, where the more valuable pieces of clothing and electronics usually are, has been dedicated to costumes.
