Remember when waiting outside of the Nike's Chicago store at midnight was a thing? You know, before Niketown closed out of the blue. Now everybody's asking "when is Niketown reopening?" "When can we wait in line at midnight again?" Well, you're never going to be waiting in line for a midnight release again. Due to crowd control issues and safety concerns, via a recently released memo to retailers, Nike has banned the midnight release. [Racked]
