Comfortable German Womenswear Opening on Wabash

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Munich-based OSKA, a company we've barely heard of before is opening in the corner space of the building where Racked 38 Member, Sarca takes residence. This was the space that Sassoon Salon was in talks to occupy last year after Pierre Deux dramatically left and Sassoon's deal of the 55 E Erie building fell through.

Since OSKA's inception in 1997, they annually present two collections of womenswear made of smooth mainly fluffy and fabrics including boiled wool, down, knitwear, and jersey. This location will aide the selling of 350,000 pieces per season worldwide. The store currently operates in One store in New York, New Jersey and Minneapolis and two stores in California. We hear the store will be open in a little over a month.
