We often write about the intersection of fashion and philanthropy because we love the prospect of shopping while making an impact. And when one of our favorite stores gets the philanthropic bug, we're definitely on board. Next Thursday for Fashion's Night Out, Barneys partners with the Human Rights Campaign. They will stay open a bit later than usual, 8pm, and all will donate 10% of any business done from 5-8pm to the HRC. If you don't know what the HRC is, you should: it's a civil rights org working toward LGBT equality. It's a worthy cause so we're more than happy to drop a few stacks on some Carven, Lanvin and Pierre Hardy. [Racked Inbox]
