Borris Powell, the Chicago designer and all-around lovely guy whose Swan dress was worn at the 2011 Academy Awards, launches his new ready-to-wear collection tonight at Strut boutique in Lincoln Park. He will be on hand to discuss his collection and maybe even offer you a personalized fitting of some of his gorgeous gowns and clothing, if you're lucky. In addition to his collection, Strut will also be showcasing their boutique's own wares. And this wouldn't be a fashion event without the requisite wine and passed apps that are sure to flow like water. You're going to have a busy night with this event and Cityblue at the Roof.
