Glam Up for October's Fashion Focus Week

Fashion Focus is imminent, and fast approaching, highlighting the best of Chicago fashion and thrusting Chicago designers into the spotlight. The action happens under a tent in Millenium Park, just like NYFW, with the BIG Fashion Focus event, the runway show, taking place on October 19. It features Chicago designers Borris Powell, reality star Barbara Bates and Lara Miller amongst others, showcasing their newest looks to the fashionable Chicago crowd.

If this isn't enough, the city will be awash the entire week from Oct. 15-21 in more than 50 events -- everything from Cultural Center panel discussions, to fashion shows, shopping events and student showcases. If you have any vacation days left over from your summer jaunts, you may want to use them to experience just a fraction of what Fashion Focus has to offer.
