The Clybourn Corridor is going "gangbusters" according to retail consultant, John Melaniphy, president of Melaniphy & Associates. In a recent post in Crain's, he aids the visions that retail growth in the area is moving South and catering to the slew of affluent communities surrounding the area.
For starters, there's the Target that we've all been waiting for, then Nordstrom Rack, Dick's Sporting Goods, the city's second third Mariano's Fresh Market with a bajillion kinds of hummus and a Sephora. Seems like this area ha got it all--with Williams Sonoma and Anthropologie moving in soon, this place just might be gangbusters. Oh, and let's not forget about the movies, please welcome a 14-screen theater operated by ArcLight Cinemas.
