With the consignment craze at its height, we turn to philanthropy as an alternative to rid our closets of past seasons' trends. During August, Chicago Lighthouse has been scooping up these unwanted designer pieces and next Thursday on September 20 will sell them at 70-90% off original prices. The sale, which we hear is heavy on Burberry YSL and Dior this year takes over an empty store in the Bloomie's mall, shopping starts at 7PM and it costs $50 to get in. There will be cocktails. The sale continues without the ticketed entry through Sunday. [Racked Inbox]
