Starting in October, comfy flip flop company, Havaianas will have a new U.S. president named Marcio Moura. According to WWD, in a recent interview Marcio made it clear that he continues to expand (its footprint) (ha) in the states. This will happen by increasing accounts at department stores and opening more of its own stores, including Chicago. The stores, unlike the summer pop-up at North Ave Beach that closed 'round Labor Day sell heavier items along the lines of bags, socks, towels and a children's line. An exact date isn't clear but we presume it'll happen late 2013 or 2014.
