RIVER NORTH—This has been quite a week for Graham Elliot. First he settled a lawsuit with former employees. Then his exec chef, Andrew Brochu, parted ways with the restaurant. Then the mayor declared it Graham Elliot Day in Chicago. And then, GE pastry chef Bryce Caron walked out. What's next?
RIVER NORTH—We already knew that Fabio Viviani, a fan fave from Top Chef, was teaming with the guys behind Public House and Bull & Bear, but now we know the projects name, Siena Tavern, and where it will be.
LOGAN SQUARE—After leaving his exec chef position at Drawing Room, competing on Around the World in 80 Plates and taking off the summer to figure out his next move, chef Nick Lacasse has joined forces with Eddie Carranza, the owner of the Congress Theater, to open a number of projects, first of which will be a grocery, deli and cafe called Rockwell Market.
ON TV—Chicago is sending another contestant to Top Chef, this time to Seattle for the show's 10th season. Who is it? Chrissy Camba, who was recently named chef of the forthcoming Bar Pastoral. Set your DVRs for Nov. 7.
