From Oak to Walton, Sofia Gets A New Look

Our man on the move, Tim Schroeder heads on over to the new Sofia Boutique on Walton to check-in on the newest the shop has to offer.

A new space means a new attitude, and that is exactly what happened at Sofia boutique in its new location on Walton Street. Although the shop only moved a block south, it is now offering all new merchandise along with some newly added home goods and women's sportswear.

What was once a shabby-chic boutique on Oak Street turned into an industrially-luxe space on Walton. The grey wooden floors in the new store grounds the white walls, and above is a black ceiling with exposed ductwork, all with beautiful pops of color from clothes by Mara Hoffman, Elkin, Shona Joy, Sara Scott, and even Rachel Zoe (the newest brands in the store). The beautiful clothes remain, but the Sofia customer can also find her workout apparel in the store too; the boutique is now offering Splits 59 sportswear, a stylish line of transitional workout gear that a woman wouldn't mind being seen in after the gym.

Along with the new additions to clothing, Sofia just introduced fashionable goods for the home, including candles and incense. The small offering of Fornasetti, I Am fragrances, Lafco candles, will be expanded upon when Sofia debuts their exclusive line of five scented candles, each being named after a different address that the boutique has had. Change is definitely in the air at Sofia, and soon you won't have to stop in the beautiful store to shop, you'll be able to purchase Sofia's offerings online, through their new e-commerce site coming soon (stay tuned for details about its launch)!

The doors are open, the clothes are hung, and the candles are burning, so stop in today to check out Sofia's new personality, but still with the same great taste and stylish selection.
