Chicagoland-based ULTA, this October 14th is hosting multi-salon Cut-A-Thon to support breast cancer research. Mark your calendar right now because at the $10 price point, appointments are sure to full up early. Yep, $10 for a shampoo, cut and style and 100% of that is donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
In 2011, ULTA performed more than 19,000 haircuts at their salon locations during the Cut-A-Thon, a number it aims to exceed this year. If you're glued to your stylist and want to show your support, but can't bear to lose your locks, not to worry. Brands like Philosophy, Stila and Smashbox are donating to BCRF from sales of select products throughout the day as well.
