Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Near a month out, you're bound to be in the mood for some spooky shenanigans and chances are if you're like us, you have nothing to wear. Dressing up for Halloween is rough-- there are only so many hooker costumes we can fit into, ya know? So last night we decided to drive our monster truck over to Salvage One on Hubbard at Wolcott for the Hendrick's Gin traveling pop-up apothecary for some sexy (not hooker) inspiration that reminds us of an early 1900s absurdist Monty Python sketch. Click through for the funny socks, the bobby hairdos and one mutha f* big tricycle. If you like what you see, but you'd like to see it closer, and ask some of these creatures where they bought their costumes, the same thing happens tonight from 7-10.
