Just when we thought the Double Door couldn't get any romantic/fabulous/sexy we get the news that The Wicker Park / Bucktown business community is launching a Wed Local Campaign for Spring 2013. Holy cow, guys, this is major.
Anybody getting hitched soon should plan and shop for their white wedding locally in one of Chicago's most fashion-forward neighborhoods, at the intersection of the world, North/Milwaukee/Damen. Local nuptual-industry professionals are starting to introduce a new 'Wed Local' campaign. The initiative consists of a printed guide of where to find tuxes and tiaras or marzipan and buttercream and give lookbook ideas for a rock-n-roll bash, an eco-friendly soiree, or retro vintage shindig. The initiative is pinnacled by The Wed Local Expo, which (mark you calendars) will happen on on Sunday, May 19th at... the world famous Double Door.
