Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
On Friday night we got the first word that signage was in the window of the vacant United Colors of Benetton on Amitage. It reads "NTC" short for Nike Training Club. Yet to open, the store will offer a premium assortment of Nike footwear, apparel and accessories and have community-focused class and groups, more so than Niketown on Michigan Ave.
The health-conscious women of the neighborhood can participate in a variety of classes, all led by a live instructor that are modeled after the popular smart phone Nike Training Club (NTC) full-body training app that caters to every level of fitness.
