Yesterday, it was thought that the Missoni family private plane was hijacked and the family was kidnapped by Venezuelan air pirates, due to a text message that was sent Sunday night. Like any country trying to preserve its tourism revenue, the Venezuelan authorities are now dismissing that possibility. According to an Italian newspaper, Reuters says that the Venezuelan pilots flying the plane saw an 'an aggregation of clouds' before the plane disappeared off radar. [Racked]
