In this year of Porsche Design's 40th anniversary, the group is launching women's handbags in March. The line centers on a bowler bag style silhouette with two adjustable handles that is available in different colors, materials and hardware options for $1,600- $24,500. And as you can see here, in the ad campaign for the bags, two twins sit looking at each other on the sofa, with the same bag, handles at opposite lengths—hence, its name, Twin Bag.
The bags will hit all 125 Porsche stores worldwide and as the bag and accessory line continues to grow, so will the company. An exec told WWD that to support that growth, the company will expand in the U.S. with Chicago, Washington and Dallas as well as in Europe with France and Italy.
