Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Nordstrom's fun, theme-y pop-up series launches next Thursday. Called Pop-In @ Nordstrom, the series brings pop-up shops to eight nationwide locations—and, we just confirmed, the Michigan Avenue Nordstrom is on the list.
The first pop-up shop has a "French Fling" theme and will offer everything from clutches to colored pencils and high-end clothing—all oozing with Gallic flair, of course. The pop-up will be a shop-within-a-shop set designed by hip architect Rafael de Cárdenas, and we're pleased to report that big block letters spell out Oui on the facade.( Pourquois pas, right?) The Frenchy pop-up will remain open until November 10.
