Saks Fifth Avenue on Michigan Ave is hosting a trunk show today for Phillips House. We got a sneak peek at the baubles last night, and loved what we saw. So this is just a friendly PSA, since diamonds, blue sapphires, and mint jasper have a tendency to lend a little sparkle to gloomy days. These jewels also have a glam pedigree that makes them worth seeing up close: Michelle Obama chose a pair of Phillips House earrings to wear when she met with Queen Elizabeth II. [Racked Inbox]
