Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

With the earth-loving tagline "sustainably chic," Green Goddess Boutique will spring up on level five of the 900 Shops on Friday. The store's owner, Elyce Rembos, is a former New York City stylist who's committed to stocking stylish goods from brands that are eco-friendly, fair-trade, Made in America, or charitable.

The Goddess also has outlets in Lincoln Park and in Hinsdale, and each location has a slightly different assortment of jewelry, clothing, accessories, and home goods. The 900 Shops outpost will stock brands such as Chan Luu, Love Heals, Tai, and Virgins, Saints & Angels.
