Pumpkins are on everyone's doorsteps these days—and in two Chicago spas. Just in time for a certain spooky holiday, here are two new perfectly Halloween-y services.
The spa at dana hotel is offering a Pumpkin Pie manicure and pedicure. The treatment starts with an herbal foot-and-hand soak; technicians then slough off dead skin using a pumpkin-infused sugar scrub. Next up: a hand-and-foot massage, a dab of nourishing skin cream, and the polish application. The manicure is $35; the pedi is $55. And, both services will be available through November.
At Leah Chavie Skincare Center, there are services that would make Cinderella smile: pumpkin clinical treatments, and a pumpkin facial. The clinical treatment, $75, includes a mask, and lasts 30 minutes; the one-hour facial is $99 and includes exfoliations, extractions, and a facial massage.
Both treatments incorporate Chavie's own medical skincare products, which are infused with the antioxidants and enzymes found in the celebrated gourd. And (we confirmed!) the products do have a pumpkin-y aroma.
