The bad news? There's probably no one who'd be delighted—for any amount of money— to give you a lift to Aurora tomorrow so you can start your holiday shopping at the Chicago Premium Outlets. Luckily, Windy City Limousine will do the job for free.
Starting tomorrow, a shuttle service will take shoppers from Union Station to the outlets on weekends through December 22. The outlets, in case you're more of a city-dweller, have stores housing discounted goods from 7 For All Mankind, Juicy Couture, Elie Tahari, J. Crew, Kate Spade New York, and lots more. There are 120 stores in total, and discounts range from 25 to 65 percent.
Limos leave for the outlets at 8:45 a.m., noon, and 4 p.m., and the service will be offered at the same times every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until the holiday shopping-promo wraps up in December. While tomorrow's maiden voyage is gratis, the fee will be $19.99 going forward—but frankly, we'd pay twice that to avoid sitting in Aurora-bound traffic.
Side note: could limo service to Chicago outlet malls be a thing? After the launch of weekend shuttle service to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, we're sensing a four-wheeled trend.
