Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Interior designer Julia Buckingham Edelmann describes her signature style as "Modernique." We can get into anything with a French ring—and we'd move into it if it means a beautiful, warm type of environment that juxtaposes old with new and unexpected details with fixtures that feel as comfy as a pair of old jeans. Take a peek inside the Buckingham Interiors + Design showroom, which is brand new to West Town, below.
And if you want to get inside the talented designer's head, check out the fall inspirations she lists on her website. She's digging everything from The Wizard of Oz (our favorite storybook tale) to red Christian Louboutin shoes and cabled cashmere.
