Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Sarah Nelson must be our opposite in every way: the woman is a professional organizer. The streamlining pro, who owns Less is More, has made her living clearing up clutter and making over closets, and her newest offering is geared toward combatting holiday stress. (Tall order, right?)

Recently, Nelson teamed up with local stylist Suze Solari of Suze Solari Style to offer a service dubbed "Five Hours to a Stress-Free Holiday Season."

Here's how it works: Solari rolls up her on-trend sleeves and spends two hours sifting through clients' wardrobes to pull together three holiday-party outfits. Meanwhile, Nelson takes three hours to work her organizing magic on pantries, coat closets, or guest rooms, getting homes all gussied up for entertaining or hosting. The package costs $399.

So look, if there were a magic bullet to really make this season stress-free, we'd all take it—but having ready-to-go party ensembles and a cozy, clean home certainly doesn't hurt. And if all else fails, just reach for the Mistletoe-tinis.
