Atwood Cafe's Holiday Tea Offers a Sweet Shopping Break

As part of Racked Travel Week, we'll be offering quick ideas for some quality Family Time this holiday season. Giving preference, of course, to activities near shopping.

Here's a sweet idea for a shopping break: gather the family for some petit fours, chocolate mousse, and a flute of bubbly. The Atwood Cafe's Holiday Tea is available on November weekends starting this Saturday; in December, it will be offered daily all month.

Held in the cafe's colorful, plush confines—and smack-dab in the middle of the downtown shopping district—the tea offers eight loose-leaf options jazzed up with cumin-or-chamomile-infused honey. There are also cranberry scones, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and savory sandwiches. Tickets are $20 for tots 12 and under and $35 for adults (plus extra for those bubbles. Which may be worth it after waiting in line for Santa.) Make your reservations here.
