H&M on Michigan Avenue Still Has Plenty of Isabel Marant

We popped into H&M over the weekend to scope out what's left of the Isabel Marant collaboration, and found the selection surprisingly robust. But first, we grilled the team on what went down on Thursday morning.

The knitwear went quickly, according to one staffer, but the rush wasn't anything like what the team saw for—dun dun dun—Margiela X H&M. For that collection, one intrepid fan started camping out at noon the day before the launch. By contrast, the first Marataholic showed up at 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening. Still, pretty unbelievable. But noon? That's devotion.

By opening time on Thursday, there was a line around the block and shoppers bum-rushed the back room, where all the merchandise is held. And after dutifully cleaning out the looped sweaters, fringe booties, and beaded-jackets, the collab fans left what's below.

• Plenty of white leather pants (and black ones) are still available. Could it be the price? These guys go for nearly $300 a pop— which is more than we'd pay to look like Steven Tyler, personally. Photos: Jenny Berg
• The beaded jackets said au revoir, but there are still glitzy bomber jackets for the taking. There are also plenty of tie-dyed pants, which—just sayin'— look an awful lot like Marant's regular line.
• It looks like it's, um, had a visitor or two. But, the accessory table is still piled high with tassel earrings and beaded belts.
