Sorellina Fine Jewelry (A Florence Welch Fave!) Is Now in Chicago

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Sorellina Fine Jewelry is now available in Chicago, and its lucky stockist is Elements. Founded by sisters Kim and Nicole Carosella, the line makes liberal use of vintage diamonds and has beyond-cool followers (Florence Welch is a fan. Enough said.)

"We love the girls from Sorellina," says Kate Bluenstein of Elements. "They were actually here in the store a month ago! Their pieces truly stand out for their beauty, uniqueness and wonderful attention to detail. They are spectacular jewelry designers."

At Elements, pieces include the pink-opal Otto Studs, recognized as one of the brand's hero products; there are also earrings decked with moonstones and sapphires. Our favorite piece is the Single Diamond Serpentine Necklace which—wouldn't you say?— has a little sssssizzle of danger to it.

Granted, these are more on our fantasy-Christmas list than our actual shopping list: prices range from $1,200 for the slithering style mentioned above to $5,100 for the Diamond Serpentine Necklace. Still, a little staring at sparkles never hurt anyone. Check out some more of what's available now at Elements, below.
