The Oak Street Juicy Couture boutique could close in June. News broke yesterday that Juicy Couture parent company Fifth & Pacific plans to convert some Juicy stores into Lucky Brand or Kate Spade shops. Could the Gold Coast outlet be affected, even with two Kate Spade boutiques already in the neighborhood?

We asked for an official statement from the company regarding the Chicago store, and here's what the rep wrote back:

"While we are operating the Juicy Couture retail stores "business as usual" through June 2014, we do anticipate converting a number of Juicy stores to Lucky Brand and Kate Spade New York, and re-deploying, transitioning and transferring the remainder of the U.S. Store fleet in a cost-effective manner. How specific stores are being impacted —and in what timeframe— is still being determined."
