Birchbox and Cynthia Rowley have teamed up on a beautiful shopping event in Bucktown tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.

To celebrate the launch of the Cynthia Rowley Beauty pallette for Birchbox, the designer boutique will host an in-store bash with champagne, 20 percent discounts, and—yes!—free beauty tips from the pros. Makeup artists will be on hand to dole out lessons on mastering the smokey eye, using the new pallette (which, if you spend $100 or more, you'll get for free.) Between swigging champagne, trying on dresses, and mastering the nighttime beauty looks, this event seems to us like the perfect practice run for New Year's Eve.

And, psst: if this cold is making you anti-leaving-the house, you can watch a little video tutorial here. You'll have to supply your own champers, though.
