Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Reminder: the brand new eDrop-Off opened today in the Gold Coast. The Chicago Sun-Times Splash did a, well, splashy profile of eDrop-Off founder Corri McFadden last week, and gave lots of juicy details on what to expect from the new store.

The new spot, McFadden told Splash, replaces the former space on State Street, which was drop-off only. In the hours-old boutique, customers can still drop off designer goods, and copywriters and photographers will write up product descriptions and snap photos to post the goods on eBay. There will also be staffers on hand to offer closet clean-outs; there will also be curbside pickup.

If you want to stay a while, the Lincoln Park location has a fitting room. "You can sweep through the site, pull the item numbers of what you want to see, schedule a time and we'll have it waiting in the dressing room for you," McFadden told Splash. Check out the whole story here.

Correction: This story has been updated to say that the Lincoln Park store—not the new Gold Coast location—has a fitting room.
