Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
We squealed a little bit—in public—when we got this press release. The idea is just that good. On Thursday, Uber is teaming up with The Home Depot to deliver live Christmas trees and stands to homes in cities including Chicago.
To take advantage of the service, just use your Smartphone and access the Uber app, and your account will be charged $135. Reps estimate that the delivery service will take mere minutes, so make sure you have your tinsel and twinkly lights on standby. And we thought sushi delivery was convenient.
