Jewelry designer Laura Lombardi honed her artistic eye by studying sculpture and mixed media—and living in Italy and New York didn't hurt her sense of design. Known for her fluid, geometric pieces, the talented artiste is hosting a one-day pop-up shop at MoniqueMeloche Gallery on December 14 from 2 to 6 p.m. We want to get this on your radar a bit in advance because, well, it looks rather lovely (and, after all, it only lasts for four hours.) Representing local makers who create everything from scarves to apothecary items, the shop will be like a festive gallery of homegrown goods.
