The news is out that Saint Laurent opens tomorrow in the Gold Coast, and a fellow French neighbor won't be far behind. A rep for Sandro has confirmed that the store opens on Oak Street on December 21. Sandro already has 200 freestanding boutiques in Europe and Asia, and its first Chicago shop is part of a U.S. expansion.
With a look that mirrors the brand's original store in Paris, the sleek boutique will sling contemporary apparel for both sexes. There will be soft-colored walls, terrazzo floors, and LED lights that play off geometric patterns in the ceiling. Mixed raw materials, including marble and wood, play into the design.
The brand is known for clean lines, and its winter collection will be filled with black-and-blue hues. Take a refresher peek at what will be in store, here.
