With New York Fashion Week coming to a close we decided to check in on the adventures of the Chicago fashion flock who took New York City for the bi-annual pilgrimage. Chicago's winter no doubt prepared the Windy City's style set for the onset on monster storm Nemo during this season's fashion week. After the jump we've got a recap of what everyone was up to.

The Creatures of the Wind boys, Chris Peters and Shane Gabier, presented their Fall-Winter 2013 collection inspired by candy. They garnered rave reviews and seem well on way to fashion greatness.

In the audience Megan Finn, City Blue and CB's Director of Operations, captured the mood at the Creatures of the Wind show. Does her presence at the show mean that City Blue and CB will be expanding their offering to include COT?

Jena Gambaccini of ChiCityFashion donned a beanie with soda can tabs in order to keep warm during NYFW with a funky fashionable flair. In addition to the shows Jena attended she also stopped by NET-A-PORTER to see their top picks of the season for Spring 2013.

Before Thakoon's FW13 show Amy Creyer of Chicago Street Style snapped a candid moment between Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour and Vogue Creative Director Grace Coddington. Wintour looked as stoney faced as ever but her turquoise fur along with Coddington's vibrant red hair and cobalt blue jacket created quite an animated image.

Red Soles and Red Wine's Jennifer Worman was busy working her street style poses as her image was published in multiple street style slideshows. In the image gallery is a screen shot of her on FabSugar and another snap from the Huffington Post.

Blogger and Stylist Jessica Mozami got her street style captured by Chicago's own Emma Arnold of Tres Awesome. Repping utilitarian chic Mozami paired an oversize trench with cam pants showing the fashionites gathered for NYFW how to look stylish with out freezing.

On the other side of the lens Emma Arnold of Tres Awesome captured loads of fantastic street style. Here is a snap Arnold took of Sari Bibiowicz cof-founder of Bib and Tuck wearing a matching set top and bottom in an explosive floral print. -Samm Mackin
