The 8th Annual For the Love of Chocolate Gala is February 23rd, care of the French Pastry School. This year the school nods the spirit of Old Hollywood at the Union League Club with all the chocolate-y regalia, including the Dessert Dance Party and the dramatic apex of the evening, the Cocoa Couture Fashion Show. This, much like last year will feature local personalities wearing insane dresses made of chocolate and sugar accented with delectables like macaroons, Intelligentsia coffee, fondant, icing and cast sugar. The gala is sold out, but there's still space at the dance party and chairs at the fashion show if you're salivating yet.
