Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Gucci, Mont Blanc, Max Mara, and Michael Kors aren't the only stores who can hold court in the handbag arena in the Shops at 900. Laudi Vidni, known for producing gorgeous, but affordable custom leather bags (and having a cult following), is about to blow the doors off the shopping center. As we learned yesterday, Lulu's at The Belle Kay, one of the city's best vintage clothiers, is opening in early March and will stock Laudi Vidni's signature bags in supple Italian leathers. Additionally, other contemporary vendors will include New York-based Iradj Moini, Roni Blanshay and the hard-to find costume jeweler, Larry Vrba.
