Europa Books was one of the last standing independent global literature shops anywhere near the Loop. And since the shop's closure last August 31, New Age Nail Studio has been building out the storefront to a super-white haven for your glossy digits.

A few weeks ago it came to our attention that the salon will specialize in liquid gels and stock 300 shades for a no-chip manicure. Recently the paper came off the windows to reveal all the salon equipment and shelves merchandised with a rainbow of polish. A post on New Age Nail Studio's Facebook page notes that the salon is waiting on approval from the city and hopes to be open as early as next week.
