Vile and Valiant Hosting Vintage Mania For One Day Only

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

West Town newcomer Vile and Valiant, which stocks hard-to-find labels and independent designers, is having their first vintage market. In a thick British accent, owner Mark Millar tells us, "Our story has always been about incorporating fashion history and integrating vintage in with our fresh offerings." And now even more vintage will make its way into the shop for one day only on March 9.

Star vintage purveyor Axis of Evelyn, from under the artful eye of Evelyn Diatchman along with ZZouzi Vintage and Richard Biasi of Richard's Fabulous Finds will set up shop with some of their more sought after finds. The suggested donation for the sale is $5 which goes into a pot to build a playground in nearby Eckhart Park.
