Instant Romance: Three Valentine's Staycations

The best way to cure those winter blues and turn turn up the heat at night is a nighttime field trip, or a Valentine's Staycation. And like in the verbiage of HotelTonight, one of Chicago's 'luxe, hip or solid' hotels is the place to do it. We've chosen these three for seekers of sexytime, all in slightly different price ranges to turn up your temperature.

Solid: For the entire month of February, The Chicago Mart Plaza's special Valentine's Day package starts at $135 per night. Think Frango Mints, a $25 gift card and savings at Macy's. Each room comes with a romance board game called Enchanting Evening Romance Game in which each player is encouraged to respond to a secret verbally or by touching the other player(s) of the game. If it was a late night, guests can complimentary breakfast room service or head upstairs to ItaliAsia. If it was a really late night, late check out may also be available.

Hip: At The Blackstone on South Michigan Ave, from now until February 19, and then again from February 25-28, think "kinky-fun with complimentary valet parking". Each Valentine's Day suite not only comes with Champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries or Red Fire chocolates, breakfast in bed, but hot chocolate body paint as well. Rates without the romantic extras normally start at $219, with all this chocolate kink rates are at $229. Sound like the only thing missing here is the bondage rope and the valet to help tie you up.

Luxe: For the seeker of fance-in-the-pants, slurp oysters at Argent in River North's Dana Hotel. $439 will get you just that along with a King guest room upstairs from the restaurant, prosecco and an 80-minute massage for two. This deal is only for V-Day, but when we checked today, there's still plenty of availability.
