The art world glitterati came out to play on Saturday night, to celebrate the MCA's annual gala and party, ArtEdge, taking place at the fab space that is the MCA Warehouse in West Town. As Madeleine Grynzstein said to an anxious and fun crowd, "this party is as MCA as it gets..." Truer words were never spoken -- donors and MCA darlings Marilyn and Larry Fields, Linda Johnson Rice and others, donned their most avant - garde wares and let loose their inhibitions to raise money for and toast one of the most cutting edge art institutions in the country.
From the sit down dinner and dance act, to the wall installation of hanging donuts and fab band Fitz & the Tantrums, the party just couldn't get any cooler; was a wonderful representation of the innovation and diversity that the MCA is all about.
