If you're unfamiliar with the graphic novel or short film Cadaver, it's a wise and heartfelt love story that tests any grown person's emotions. The story centers around the feeling of heartbreak as an older man who has died comes back to life to say goodbye one last time to his wife. And since being made into a nearly eight minute film featuring The Style Rookie Tavi Gevinson, Back to the Future's Christopher Lloyd, and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates, it has received much acclaim.

CADAVER - A bittersweet love story (7 min) from Jonah D. Ansell on Vimeo.

This Spring, Tavi and Jonah Ansell, the writer of the tale and director of the 2D film are personally screening the movie at the MCA on April 23, at 6PM. The screening is accompanied by a book signing and a talk about how the emotive story came to life from poem, to novel, to screen.
