When the Bonobos Guideshop concept first surfaced last year it was an instant success. The first Guideshop in Chicago opened last October in River North, then relocated in December to Armitage while there were talks of a second shop opening in the old Tory Burch space on Walton which wasn't realized. Now this menswear brand known for producing pants that are the nemesis to saggy butt syndrome may move across the street from Berco's Popcorn to the opposite side of Armitage into a more larger, more classic-looking storefront near the new Nike Training Club. It's rumored that since Bonobos is no longer interested in Tory Burch, the brand is seeking space on Oak Street.
